Who this is for
A three-day ridge and viewpoint trek: high pasture, wide sky, about 3,200 m.
Kuri Danda is a ridge-and-viewpoint walk rather than a sanctuary trek. You climb through forest into open pasture, sleep near 3,200 m, and look across the range on a clear morning. Typical length is two to three days; we hold three so the high night is not stacked on a long jeep day. Stairs and cold nights — not a technical path.

Itinerary
01

Drive and a forest climb to the first high lodge.
02
Kuri Danda viewpoint
Dawn or late morning on the ridge near 3,200 m, then a short afternoon walk.
03
Descend to Pokhara
Long descent and a lake evening.
Difficulty and altitude
Kuri Danda is a Moderate walk of 3 days, with a high point around 3200 m. We pace for acclimatisation, not a brochure summit morning.
Best time to go
Typical season: October–May. October–November and March–April are the classic Himalayan windows. We close or reroute when cloud and rain make the view a fiction.
Permits and what is included
Annapurna routes include ACAP and usually TIMS, processed in Pokhara. Restricted valleys (Mustang, Manaslu, Tsum, Nar Phu) add a RAP filed through immigration. The quote lists permit days; there is no surprise at the checkpoint.
