Who this is for
Stone houses, a Gurung museum, and close mountain views without a high pass.
Ghandruk is the stone Gurung village that many longer treks only pass through. We give it two nights so you can walk the lanes, visit the museum, and look at Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre without a 4,000 m morning. Typical length is two to three days from Pokhara.

Difficulty and altitude
Ghandruk village is a Easy walk of 3 days, with a high point around 1940 m. We pace for acclimatisation, not a brochure summit morning.
Best time to go
Typical season: October–May. October–November and March–April are the classic Himalayan windows. We close or reroute when cloud and rain make the view a fiction.
Permits and what is included
Annapurna routes include ACAP and usually TIMS, processed in Pokhara. Restricted valleys (Mustang, Manaslu, Tsum, Nar Phu) add a RAP filed through immigration. The quote lists permit days; there is no surprise at the checkpoint.
